We attended TPC2025½ at The Place in London earlier this week. The one-day conference focused on success in ticketing and marketing, covering everything from attraction through to measurement and feedback.

The standout session was Chris Crossley from Line-Up, who delivered an Oasis-themed talk on reducing friction in the checkout process. His central point resonated: every time a buyer has to think, make a decision, or take an action, they're less likely to complete the purchase. In an industry fighting for attention, we can't afford to lose buyers because the checkout flow is too drawn out or confusing. The talk reminded us why we do this work: to connect people to the moments that matter.

The opening session from Mamma Mia! The Party at The O2 was equally strong, demonstrating how data-driven marketing and smart strategy can sell complex experiences when budgets are tight and audiences have endless choices.

Over 200 ticketing professionals attended, and the focused format worked well. Thank you to Andrew Thomas and the organising team for putting together such a thoughtful event.
