Broken-Link Reports for Your Site

Basker now tracks page-not-found responses across every site and emails a report of the top missing paths, so teams can fix broken journeys with redirects.

After a migration or a big content reshuffle, patrons following stale links hit dead ends you never hear about. Basker now tracks page-not-found responses across all sites, including those on their own domains, and sends an email report of the most-requested missing paths, so your team finds broken journeys before patrons complain about them.

See what visitors miss

Each report lists the top missing paths per site address, with a full CSV of every miss retained alongside it. Quiet periods send nothing, so a report only appears when there is something to act on. Reports can be routed to the people who manage a given site, so the right team hears about its own broken links directly.

From report to redirect

Every path in the report is a candidate for a redirect, added in the admin the same way as any other rule. Paired with the recent redirect improvements, this closes the loop on migrations: import your legacy URL map, watch the report for anything it missed, and point each straggler at its new home.
