New Custom Attribute Options Appear On Existing Events
When new select or radio options are added to a custom attribute, those options now appear on existing event instances without requiring the instances to be recreated.
When new select or radio options are added to a custom attribute, those options now appear on existing event instances without requiring the instances to be recreated. Safety measures also prevent option updates from overwriting unrelated event data.
Why this matters
Adding a new classification option should not require rebuilding event records. Previously, adding an option to an attribute like availability, genre, or audience category would not appear on existing events. Now it does.
Common use cases
Custom attributes used for availability labels, genre tags, access information, audience categories, or internal reporting flags all benefit from this fix.
