Reuse Assets Already Imported From Orange Logic

Picking the same photograph from Orange Logic on two different pages used to leave two copies in your media library. Basker now recognises an asset that has already been imported and tells you, so you can reuse the existing file and keep your library free of duplicates.

Reuse, open, or import again

When the asset is already in your library you can use the existing file, open it to check its details, or import a fresh copy if you need one. The choice appears wherever you import from Orange Logic, whether you are adding new media, choosing an image for a field, or editing an existing file.

Your details are kept

Reusing an existing file keeps the caption, alt text, and folder already set on it, so the work your team has put into describing an image carries over.
