People Blocks and Flexible Event Publishing
List artists and unscheduled programme items without workarounds using people blocks, event participants, and events that no longer require dates.
Website Builder now includes a people block with event participant support. Events can be published without a start date when the programme requires that flexibility. Archive blocks, navigation options, published page links, and reusable no-code blocks also receive stronger support in the same release.
Events without confirmed dates
Not everything on a cultural programme has a confirmed date. Exhibitions, season announcements, and programme items that are known but not yet scheduled can now be published in Basker without forcing an artificial date to satisfy a mandatory field.
People blocks
Artist pages, cast listings, creative teams, and festival contributors can be presented using the people block without bespoke template work. The block connects to the people collection and supports event participant relationships.
