Unified Search Visibility Control

A single toggle controls visibility across internal and external search, so records hidden from Basker search automatically receive noindex metadata.

Controlling internal search and external search indexing used to mean separate settings. The Show in Search field now determines whether pages, events, people, and other public records appear in both Basker search and external search engines, and noindex metadata is emitted automatically when content is hidden.

One decision covers both surfaces

Previously, controlling internal search and external search indexing required separate settings. Now a single field covers both: if Show in Search is off, the record is absent from Basker search results and carries the noindex signal for search engines.

Common use cases

This is useful for private landing pages, staff-only policy pages, hidden event records, and content that should remain reachable by URL but absent from search results.
