You can now create site-wide announcements for public pages and key visitor journeys, so you can publish closure notices, campaign banners, access messages, schedule changes, and urgent visitor updates without editing every page individually.
When to use it
Announcements are designed for time-sensitive information: unexpected closures, last-minute schedule changes, access alerts, or campaign launches. They appear across the site automatically rather than requiring each page to be updated separately.
Who can publish them
Front-of-house, marketing, and editorial teams can use announcements as a shared publishing tool. There is no longer a need to ask a theme developer for a one-off banner component when circumstances change quickly.
