Ticket Hold Timer
Display a countdown timer on booking pages when tickets are held in a patron's basket.
Basker now surfaces the hold expiry countdown from your ticketing system directly on the booking page. Patrons see a timer showing how long their selected tickets are reserved, reducing abandoned baskets caused by uncertainty.
Supported integrations
Hold timer data is pulled from the connected ticketing system. Currently supported:
- Spektrix
- Tessitura
- Tixly
Support for additional integrations is on the roadmap.
Configuration
The timer component is available as a block in the website builder. Drag it onto any page that hosts a booking flow. You can configure the visual style and the warning threshold at which the timer turns amber, then red.
If your ticketing system does not return hold expiry data, the component is hidden automatically rather than showing an incorrect or static value.
