Timezone-Aware Event Instances

Event instance processing now supports timezones, making date and time handling more reliable for public listings, sync jobs, and visitor-facing schedules.

Event instance processing now supports timezones. Date and time handling is more reliable for public listings, sync jobs, and visitor-facing schedules.

Why this matters

For live-event organisations, correct timezone handling is not a display refinement, it is core behaviour. A wrong time in a public listing is a broken event page. Getting this right ensures that events synced from Tessitura, Spektrix, or any other source arrive with accurate, display-ready times regardless of where the venue or the server is located.

What changed

Events are now stored and processed with timezone information. Public listings display the correct local time. Sync jobs carry timezone context from source systems rather than converting to a default.
