Sharper Mastheads, Headers, and Live Preview

Building a page should look the way it renders, and your edits should hold the first time. This release sharpens the website builder across the surfaces editors touch most: mastheads, header navigation, custom sections, and live preview now behave predictably, so you spend less time fighting layout quirks and more time shaping the page. Every new page also starts from your default layout instead of a blank field.

Mastheads and headers that follow your theme

Masthead button positioning now responds to your alignment settings, the stacked layout grows with its content while the media holds its set fraction, and footer pills and tags follow your theme's configured corner radius rather than a fixed shape. Header navigation gained the same care: a logo width control across the standard, minimal, and vertical headers, custom background and text colours for drawer menus, and a fix for the gap that pushed page content down beneath a vertical header. Sidebar quick links now render their labels reliably, and sponsor footers read their direction, position, and alignment from the shared layout controls, so the front of site matches what you arrange in the admin.

Edits that hold and a preview that keeps up

Applying a blueprint with nested blocks, such as text inside a rich-text block, previously left those blocks empty until you reloaded the page, and rich-text edits could silently revert to their starting content. Both now persist correctly, so what you write is what stays. Live preview now waits for your work to be saved before it reloads, so new blocks and edits appear without a manual refresh.

Custom sections and a cleaner start

Custom sections now accept every main block, with event-only blocks like event instances and venue shown only on event pages so they never clutter a regular page. Smart collection preview tables read the admin's dark-mode colours, so table chrome stays legible whichever theme you work in. Every newly created page now arrives with your default layout already selected instead of an empty field, so the layout is set before you start.
