New Gallery, Opening Hours, and Carousel Scroller Blocks

Building a page that shows a set of images, a venue's opening hours, or a scrolling row of pictures used to mean reaching for workarounds or settling for a single rigid layout. You can now drop in three new blocks: a gallery, a scroller variant of the carousel, and an opening-hours block that reads straight from your venue. Each comes with its own layout and appearance controls, so you can compose pages that match how patrons actually browse your site.

A gallery block with grid or masonry

The gallery block lays out a set of images as either a grid or a masonry arrangement, so you can show a season of production photos or a venue's spaces without hand-building a layout. You control the number of columns, the aspect ratio, how each image fills its frame, and the size of any captions. Images can be added one by one or pulled from a folder, so a gallery that should track a shared set of photos stays in step without re-uploading.

Opening hours that read from your venue

The opening-hours block renders a venue's hours directly from the venue record, so you set the times once and every page that shows them stays correct. A simple layout lists the week as a day-and-time table, while a today layout shows live open or closed status for the current day, with an optional last-entry line and an entry note. You can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time and align the text left, centre, or right. The block also publishes structured opening-hours data for search engines, so your hours can appear in search results without extra markup.

A carousel that scrolls, and more room to compose

The carousel block gains a scroller variant alongside the existing slideshow, so a row of images can scroll horizontally rather than advance one slide at a time, sourced manually or from a folder. Group blocks now carry a height control to sit beside the existing width handling: fit to content, fill the parent's height, or set a custom height, so nested layouts hold their shape. A group can now also be placed inside a rich text block, so structured layouts can live within longer-form content. For theme developers, a new link field replaces the old pattern of stitching together a relationship, a URL, a label, and a new-tab toggle by hand. It resolves the destination for you, so a single field gives templates a ready-to-use link with its label and new-tab setting. This is available on plans that include custom themes.
