Made to Perform

Basker was born out of Made Media, a leading digital agency working with arts and cultural organisations. It builds on Made's experience designing and delivering complex websites for live events and the cultural space.

Séalan Cronin is Co-Founder and CEO at Basker. He is the former CTO at Made Media, where, from 2011 to 2021, he worked with major live events organisations such as the Royal Albert Hall and Roundabout Theatre Company, developing custom products and serving as principal architect for a bespoke e-commerce platform processing £500mm+ in transactions globally. He holds a Computer Science & Software Engineering degree from the University of Birmingham.

James Baggaley is Co-Founder at Basker. As CEO of Made Media — a leading digital agency that works with live performance and cultural institutions across the world — he directs the strategy and operations of the group. James has a background in digital technology and arts management. Prior to joining Made as Strategy Director in 2017, he was Administrative Director at The Place in London – the UK’s leading centre for contemporary dance development — and between 2009 and 2015 he held a series of leadership roles at Spektrix in both the US and UK.
