Share a theme preview

Copy the theme-specific preview URL without changing the live site's selected theme

A theme preview URL renders the site with that theme while the live site continues to use its selected theme.

In the Basker admin:

  1. Go to Design → Themes.
  2. Find the theme in the theme library.
  3. Click Copy preview link.

The copied URL uses a theme-specific preview host. In production it has the form:

https://{theme-id}.baskerpreview.com

Open the link and browse normal site paths on that host to exercise the theme across pages, events, posts, and other routes.

Check before sharing

  • The preview resolves the draft version of the selected theme and runs in preview mode.
  • Preview mode can expose draft content. Treat the URL as a public share link and do not send it more widely than intended.
  • The preview host does not switch the live site's selected theme.
  • This theme-library link is not the expiring, signed content-preview link available from individual content records.

Check the main page types, template variants, blocks, settings, assets, localized routes, and a not-found URL before activation. Browser developer tools are useful for spotting failed asset or API requests.
