Today we launched our first live website on the Basker platform. Writers Theatre in Glencoe, Illinois, went live this morning with a complete site redesign built on Basker with full Tessitura integration.
Writers Theatre is a leading regional theatre producing high-quality work in an intimate setting. They needed a modern website that could handle their unique requirements - including accurate representation of their thrust stage seating layout - and they needed it delivered quickly to support their upcoming season announcement.
This project proved what we built Basker to do. Our Tessitura integration worked as designed, pulling event data directly into the CMS. The templates we created for arts organisations - event pages, season pages, artist profiles - gave the Made Media design team the flexibility they needed without requiring custom backend development. And because Basker is delivered as SaaS, Writers Theatre won't need to worry about CMS upgrades or maintenance.
Seeing the first Basker site go live validates the work we've put into the platform. We're grateful to Writers Theatre and the Made Media team for trusting us with this launch.
