Connect Basker events to Yesplan and map event and schedule data into Basker

The Yesplan app connects a Basker event to an event in Yesplan. Editors can then sync event details and schedule entries into the event and its performances.

Connection

Open Settings → Apps → Yesplan and enter:

  • Yesplan Instance URL: for example, https://remarkable-theatre.yesplan.be.
  • Yesplan API Key: from your Yesplan account settings.

Use the connection check before linking events.

Sync maps

Site-wide maps decide where Yesplan data goes:

  • Event maps can fill the title, description, duration, start date, end date, and custom attributes.
  • Performance maps can fill the title, start date, booking status, booking-button label, and custom attributes.
  • Overwrite on sync replaces the Basker value whenever you sync.
  • Import once leaves a Basker field alone after it has a value.

Performance settings also control whether schedules are synced, whether new performances are created, and whether performances whose Yesplan schedule is no longer valid are removed.

Connect and sync an event

Open a Basker event and find the Yesplan panel:

  1. Select the matching Yesplan event and choose Connect.
  2. Save the Basker event. A connected event needs an end date and must not already be in the past.
  3. Choose Sync now to import the latest Yesplan event and schedule data.
  4. Use Sync settings when this event needs different maps from the site-wide defaults.

Review fields set to Overwrite on sync before editing them in Basker; the next sync can replace those edits.
