Call To Action Row
A slim header strip of call-to-action links or buttons that sits with your main header.
The Call To Action Row adds a thin strip of links to your header — a persistent place for actions like "Book Now" or "Donate" that stay visible on every page, alongside your main navigation.
Links
The row holds a list of links, each one added and ordered in the Content tab. Every link shares the standard link options, with the icon picker turned on so you can pair a small icon with the text:
- Label — the text the visitor sees and clicks. An Icon picker sits beside it.
- A choice between Internal link (point at one of your own pages, events, or other content) and Custom URL (type any web address). Internal link is selected by default.
- Current Tab or New Tab — where the link opens. Current Tab is the default.
- A button style drawn from your theme, so each link can be shown as a button. Left unset, it uses your theme's first available style.
For the full link picker — including the internal-vs-custom choice and the Site option on multi-site setups — see Buttons and links.
Appearance
Beyond the shared spacing and layout controls, the row adds its own background and border options:
- Background — Solid (default) or Transparent. Transparent lets whatever sits behind the strip show through.
- Border — None, Edge (default), or All. Edge draws a single dividing line; All outlines the whole strip.
- Border Style — shown when a border is set. Theme (default) follows your theme's border styling; choose Custom to set your own.
- Border Width and Border Color — shown only with a Custom border style. Border width runs from 1 to 8 (default 1); the border colour defaults to black.
The tab also carries the standard Color Scheme picker and a Custom Colors toggle for setting a one-off Background Color and Text Color — see Colour scheme in blocks.
Shared controls
The row's width, alignment, gap, and spacing come from the controls shared across blocks. By default it sits at content width and aligns Right, with slim top and bottom padding and no extra margin.
- Layout — width (Full Width, Page, or Narrow), alignment, and the gap between links. See Layout controls.
- Spacing and padding — the padding and margin around the row. See Spacing and padding.
- Color scheme — the row's colour scheme and optional custom background and text colours. See Colour scheme in blocks.
Example
A box office wants a "Book Tickets" action visible everywhere:
Add a link
In the Content tab, add a link and set its Label to Book Tickets. Optionally pick an Icon to sit beside it.
Point it at the right place
Choose Internal link and select your ticketing page, or choose Custom URL for an external box-office address. Leave it on Current Tab so it opens in place.
Style the row
Set the alignment to Right and the Background to Transparent so the row sits cleanly above your navigation.
