Featured People
List key people and their roles in your footer, such as leadership, board members, or patrons.
The Featured People block lists named people and their roles, usually in the footer. Use it to credit leadership, board members, artistic staff, or patrons. Names and roles are typed in directly; the block does not pull from a people directory elsewhere in Basker.
Content
- Heading — an optional label above the list, such as
LeadershiporFeatured People. Leave it empty for the names on their own. - People — the list of people. Add a Person for each one:
- Name — the person's name. This is required.
- Role — an optional title or role, such as
Artistic Director. Leave it empty to show the name alone.
People appear in the order you arrange them.
Shared controls
Alongside the options above, this block uses the standard block controls:
- Layout — set the Direction (Vertical by default), Alignment (Left by default), the Gap between people (8px by default), and the block's Width (Full Width or Page; Page by default).
- Spacing and padding — padding and margin around the block, both starting at zero, including horizontal spacing.
- Colour scheme — set the block's colour scheme, or turn on custom colours to override the background and text directly.

Add the block
Add Featured People to your footer.
Name the list
Set Heading to Leadership.
Add each person
Add a Person, set Name to Jane Doe and Role to Artistic Director. Add another for John Smith, Executive Director.
