Tessitura
Add a Tessitura booking button for an event and the dates you choose.
The Tessitura block puts a booking button on the page, wired to Tessitura so visitors can buy tickets for an event. Use it when you want a single, focused call to book — on an event page, a landing page, or anywhere you are promoting a specific show.
Connect Tessitura first
This block only appears when Tessitura is connected and synced. Booking is handled live by the provider, so without the connection the block has nothing to link to. See Tessitura.
The button
- Title — an optional heading shown above the button.
- Booking Button — required. The call-to-action that takes the reader into booking: its label and an optional icon.
Which event and dates to book
By default the block books the event the page belongs to. On any other page, point it at the event you want and narrow which dates it offers.
- Filter Season — optional. Narrow the event list to a single season before you pick.
- Event — select an event when this block is used outside of an event page. On an event page you can leave this empty to use the current event.
- Show Instances — which dates the button covers. All Instances (default) books across every date of the event; Specific Instances lets you pick the exact dates.
- Select Instances — shown when Show Instances is set to Specific Instances. Pick the exact dates the button should offer.
Shared controls
Beyond the fields above, the block uses the standard block controls.
- Spacing and padding — adjust the margin and padding around the block.
- Layout controls — set the container width and overall placement.
- Colour scheme in blocks — set the colour scheme for the block.
- Buttons and links — style the booking button and choose its icon.
Example
To promote a single performance on a campaign page, add a Tessitura block and set Event to the show. Set Show Instances to Specific Instances and pick the one date in Select Instances, so the button books only that performance. Give the Booking Button a clear label like Book now with a ticket icon, and add a short Title above it naming the show.
