Policies & Links

A footer container that arranges your compliance and social blocks into a single legal row.

The Policies & Links block is a footer container limited to the four blocks that make up a footer's legal row. Use it to build the compact strip that usually sits at the very bottom of a footer.

Built for the footer

Add Policies & Links inside your footer. It is grouped under Layout in the add-block list.

What you can put inside

Open the Blocks list inside the Policies & Links block to add, reorder, or remove its contents. Only these four blocks can go in:

For a footer container that accepts the full range of footer blocks, use a Footer Group instead.

Arranging the contents

The arrangement lives on the Layout tab. The defaults produce a single bottom row.

Width sets how wide the row runs: Full Width to span the page, or Page to match the standard page width. It defaults to Page.

Direction decides whether the contents stack or sit side by side. It defaults to Horizontal, so the row reads left to right.

When Direction is Horizontal, a Vertical on Mobile toggle controls whether the row collapses into a stack on phones.

Alignment controls how the contents line up along the row. Choose Left, Center, Right, or Space Between (the default), which pushes the first item to the left edge and the last to the right.

Position controls how the contents line up across the other axis. Choose Top, Center (the default), Bottom, or Space Between, so by default items sit vertically centred against each other.

Gap sets the space between items. It defaults to 16 px and can be set anywhere from 0 to 120 px.

Shared controls

Policies & Links uses the standard block controls for layout, colour, and spacing. Padding and margin both start at 0 on every side, so the row sits flush by default and the surrounding footer handles the outer spacing.

Add the block

At the bottom of your footer, add a Policies & Links block.

Fill the row

Open its Blocks list and add a Copyright line, then Legal Links and Social Links.

Push the ends apart

On the Layout tab, leave Direction as Horizontal and Alignment as Space Between. The Copyright line sits on the left, with the links and social icons on the right. Leave Vertical on Mobile on so the row stacks neatly on phones.
