Land acknowledgement
Show a formatted land acknowledgement statement, usually in your footer.
This block is only available when you build or edit your footer.
The Land Acknowledgement block displays a land acknowledgement statement, with an optional heading and formatted body text. Add it inside the footer, either directly or inside a Footer Group.
Content
- Heading — an optional label above the statement.
Land Acknowledgementby default. Clear it to show the statement on its own. - Acknowledgement — the statement itself, written as formatted text. You can add links, emphasis, and line breaks here using the text editor.
Layout
This block has its own width and alignment options, separate from the shared layout controls.
- Width — choose Fit to size the block to its text, or Fill to span the available width. Fill by default.
- Max Width — cap how wide the text can run: Narrow, Normal, or None. None by default.
- Alignment — align the text Left, Center, or Right. Left by default. Alignment is hidden when Width is set to Fit (the text already shrinks to its own size).
Shared controls
Alongside the options above, this block uses the standard block controls:
- Spacing and padding — padding and margin around the block, including horizontal spacing.
