Social links
Link out to your social profiles in the footer, shown as platform icons or as text.
The Social Links block lists your social media profiles, shown as recognisable platform icons or as text labels. It is built for the footer. To use it elsewhere, place it inside a Group.
Content
- Use icons — show each profile as its platform icon. On by default. Turn it off to show each link as its platform name in text instead.
- Heading — an optional label above the links, such as "Follow Us". Leave it empty for the links on their own.
- Social Links — the list of profiles to show. Add an entry for each one. At least one entry is required.
Each profile
- Platform — pick the network the link points to: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tumblr, Vimeo, or Custom. Required. The matching icon is chosen for you.
- URL — the full web address of the profile. Required.
- Label — a short description of where the link goes, used by screen readers. Appears only when Platform is set to Custom, and is the accessible name for that link.
A network that isn't listed
For any service not in the list — or a generic link — choose Custom, paste the URL, and add a Label so the link is still announced clearly. A Custom link has no platform icon, so its Label is always shown as text — whether or not Use icons is on.
Shared controls
Alongside the options above, this block uses the standard block controls:
- Layout controls — arrange the links in a row or a column, stack them on mobile, and align them left, centre, or right. They run in a row, aligned left, by default.
- Spacing and padding — padding and margin around the block.
- Colour scheme — set the block's colour scheme, or override its background and text colours directly.
Example: a row of social icons in the footer
Add the block
Add Social Links to your footer and leave Use icons on.
Add your profiles
Add an entry for each network. Set Platform to Instagram and paste its URL, then repeat for Facebook and YouTube.
Centre the row
Open the layout controls and set the alignment to centre so the icons sit in the middle of the footer.
