Icon

Add a symbol or small image inside a group or section, with an optional link.

The Icon block shows one symbol from the built-in icon library, or a small image of your own. You can also turn it into a link.

Add an Icon inside a container

Icon is a child block. Add it inside a Group, Rich Text, Custom Section, or Footer Group. It does not appear in the main page-body picker.

Choose what appears

  • Icon: choose a symbol from the built-in library.
  • Icon Image Override: choose an image from the media library instead. When set, the image replaces the selected symbol. Its alternative text comes from the image's media details.
  • Link: optionally point the icon at content on your site or a custom web address, and choose whether it opens in the current or a new tab. See Buttons and links.

If you leave both Icon and Icon Image Override empty, the live block displays a prompt to select an icon, so choose one before publishing.

Size

Width sets both the width and height of the icon, from 8px to 160px. It starts at 24px. The block has no separate layout, colour, or spacing controls; use the surrounding container to position it and add space around it.

Example

To add three linked social or service symbols in a row, add a Group and place three Icon blocks inside it. Choose a symbol and link for each one, keep Width at 24px, then set the Group's Direction to Horizontal and adjust its Gap.
