Add content and events
Add a short intro below the Remarkable Theatre banner, then a Collection that lists upcoming events with a chosen card style.
With the banner in place, add the body of the Remarkable Theatre landing page. This is a short welcome, then a row of upcoming events. The list updates itself as your program changes.
Add an intro below the banner
In any block's "..." menu, choose Add below to insert a new block directly under the banner. You can also use the bottom +. Add a Text block for a paragraph of welcome copy. Add a Text & Image block instead if you want a photo beside the words.
For a plain intro, add a Text block. Write a short paragraph into the Text field, for example Remarkable Theatre presents bold new performances, artist talks, and community events throughout the season. On its Layout tab, set Max Width to Narrow. This keeps the line length comfortable to read. See Text.
For a paired layout, add a Text & Image block instead. Set the Heading to Welcome to Remarkable Theatre. Add the welcome paragraph under Body. Choose a theatre image for Image. On its Layout tab, set Image side to Left. See Text & image.
Add the upcoming-events listing
Below the intro, add a Collection block. Above the tabs sit its two main selectors. Set Layout to Grid. Set Collection to Events.
Open the Content tab. Add a Title of What's on. Leave Populate by on Collection. The listing then fills itself from your events automatically. Keep Hide past events on. Set Sort By to Oldest so the soonest events lead.
Limit caps how many events show at once (10 by default). Description adds a line of text below the title if you want one. Leave Hide when empty off so the block still appears while you build. To send visitors to your full program, turn on Show View All Link under View All Link. Set it to your events page.
The grid shows three across by default. Change Columns on the Layout tab if you want a different count. To let visitors narrow the list, open the Behaviour tab. Turn on Enable Filters. Keep the Venue Filter and Season Filter on. See Collection.
Choose how each event looks
Open the Collection's Cards tab. Pick a Card Pattern that suits events, for example one that shows a date and venue. Each event then appears as a matching card. Its content comes from the event itself. You create card patterns under Design, then Cards. See Card patterns.
Tidy the order
Drag a block by its handle to reorder it. Or use Move up and Move down in its "..." menu. Keep the banner at the top. Keep the intro beneath it. Keep the events listing last.
To reuse a block's setup, pick Duplicate. This drops an independent copy directly below it. See The block editor.
Check it in the preview
In the preview pane, the landing page now reads top to bottom. It shows the banner opener, the welcome intro, then a grid of upcoming events under "What's on".
The landing page is built. The last step is to review it and publish it.
