Opening hours

The Opening Hours block displays the opening times of one of your venues. It can show the full weekly schedule, or a short line telling visitors whether the venue is open today and when last entry is. Use it on a Visit page, in a sidebar, or in the footer.

Choose what to show

Both forms of the block start from the same two settings.

• Venue — the venue whose opening hours appear. Pick from your existing venues.
• Time Group — which set of hours to show. A venue can keep more than one set of hours (for example regular hours and holiday hours). Leave it empty to use the venue's first set.

When you add the block, choose a Layout. The default is Simple.

Simple

Shows the full weekly schedule as a list of days and times.

• Show Time Group Title — show the name of the hours set above the list. On by default.
• Show Time Group Note — show any note attached to the hours set (for example "Closed on public holidays"). On by default.

Today

Shows a compact status line for the current day instead of the full week. Use it where space is tight, such as a header or footer.

• Entry Note — an optional message with a link shown above the status, such as "Free entry – book online". You can set:
  • the message text,
  • an icon (a ticket by default),
  • and where the link points.
• Show Open Today Line — show whether the venue is open today and its hours for the day. On by default. When on, you can pick a Status Icon (a clock by default).
• Show Last Entry Time — add a "last entry" time to the status. Off by default.
• Minutes Before Close — how many minutes before closing last entry falls, from 0 to 120 in steps of 5. Set to 15 by default. Appears only when Show Last Entry Time is on.

Appearance

Both layouts share the same appearance options.

• Style — None for plain rows, or Underlined to separate each row with a line. None by default.
• Day Format — Long ("Monday") or Short ("Mon"). Long by default.
• Time Format — 12 Hour or 24 Hour. 12 Hour by default.
• Alignment — Left, Center, or Right. Left by default.
• Title Size — the size of the heading, from P up to H2. Set to H5 by default.
• Time Size — the size of the day-and-time text, from Small up to H4. Set to P by default.

Shared controls

Alongside the options above, this block uses the standard block controls:

• Spacing and padding — padding and margin, including horizontal spacing for this block.
• Colour scheme in blocks — set the colour scheme, and optionally a custom background and text colour, for the schedule.
• Analytics keys — tag the block for reporting.
